Jakobsnake turned 28 on Thursday. I made him this Thread sketch/ embroidery. Im still not sure what to call it. This photo was taken from an iphone and the reference was an ipad wallpaper.

Amateur Hour at the Lemonade Stand

Jake and I as okGIGANTIC made a #nowplaying for 10and5 called Amateur Hour at the Lemonade Stand. Its a great playlist... Props to Jakobsnake, as I am the 'art department' apparently.

Africa in your earbuds #3

A while ago I posted images of Jakobsnake (post here) because he needed images for a mix he was doing for okayafrica. Actually its more like I bribed him to let me take portraits, cause I love shooting him... I digress...  The mix went live yesterday with the cover art by Underdog..

I LOVE this mix.

I was fortunate enough to be able to give it a listen ages ago and I've been waiting for it to drop on all your tender ears. Mainly South African producers are featured and all based on sounds from our sweet little continent.

Jeesh, I'm as excited as a clam.

Give it a listen

Taking photos of someone you know better then anyone always has an interesting turn out. Even if its just for what you see in the images. Here are some pictures of Jakobsnake taken last night in my lounge.

Him just being him, infront of me.

Umlungu Shuffle

Umlungu Shuffle is Muti to any bad day. Jakobsnake made this mix a week ago after the second AfroClap which was a rip-snorter of a shindig. I designed the title image. ok gigantic.

You want to listen to this. Just saying: UMLUNGU SHUFFLE
