Serisha's tattoo

I love these words inked into my good friend Serisha's wrist...
Going to miss her at Touchlab!

This photo was taken about a year ago in New Zealand with a 1920s medium format camera at Mount Hut. The concept of home is really interesting to me having my family on the other side of the world. They say home is where the heart is and our buddy Bob  Marley says its within yourself.  I like to think its where my clothes are... but its not always as simple as that is it. Mainly because most of my clothes have been nicked by Lani Spice.

Live eviL: Mix Tape 01 by Dj Radbeatz

Here at Touchlab I have the honour of working with one of the most entertaining humans Iv come across, Guthrie Cooper aka Dj Radbeatz aka the Human G-nome. Thats not a real one. The G-nome one. I made that up now.

He made a mix that I very much enjoy for the Live Evil party at Waiting Room on Friday. I made a picture for his Mix.

Give it a Listen: DJ Radbeatz Live Evil Mix Tape 01

Some more words

Im loving cropping into film images, really feeling the grain and slapping on some type. Seeing as Jakobsnake conmpleted the sentance we can call it an Ok Gigantic.

Bespoke

Heres a logo and flyer design I did for for Bespoke. The flyer sums up what the company does. Cathy has so much passion, and is clued up on period costumes like no other. My first designs where influenced by these beautiful lace and 1950'so doilies that she has in abundance. I decided to rather take the influence with the type and keep it simple.

Come one come all..

Heres a flyer I designed for a exhibition at the Dorpstreet Gallery/ Dorpstaat galery. Gabbie (gabrielleraaff.com) is an incredible painter and teacher and has had a huge impact on me creatively. This is the first time I've seen Kobus Le Grange's work and its incredible.. he "patchworks" wood and then sculpts figures out of it. Come all...
