Photicons

So PhopThop has been laden with icons made from my photos for the last little while. Its my new pet love. I have ever so obviously dubbed them 'photicons' if they haven't been called this already. I like to think it was me who made it up.

I have only used film photographs, and love using those few shots that have texture, light leaks, multiple exposures, are over exposed or are just 'technical' fuck ups. Giving life to a 'dead' photograph. I love the idea of giving a forgotten exposure a new purpose by reshaping it into something iconic.
